Growing Baby Ginger as a Backyard Garden Vegetable Crop

I go through a whole lot of ginger. I have learned that I can put it in the freezer and just grate it as needed so I don’t throw away those brown shriveled lumps anymore. I do think it would be really great to grow my own and have fresh when ever I want. Veggie gardening tip has shown me how to grow and harvest my own and I will certainly be doing that.
I love ginger in my iced tea. I will be sharing my iced tea recipe that I make all winter as a cold preventer very soon.
