My husband and I were going to look at some property deep in the Oregon forest. It was snowing and at the top of a very steep hill which we had to travel on foot to see.
As we slipped and repeatedly fell on our bottoms because of the ice under the snow we came across this herd of deer what were just as curious about us.
They continued to follow us as we climbed the hill… coming as close as four feet from us.
My husband was calling out to me to hurry as I was videotaping because of the cold temperature so please forgive the lack of quality of the videos.
This was the closest I have ever been to a herd of deer in the wild and I have a new found respect for such a beautiful animal.
This deer was my favorite, the look on his face had me laughing so hard.
I was trying to laugh quietly but it was hard.
She had a itch she just had to scratch, lol.
Thank you for sharing this experience with me.
