If you like to do hard training for short intervals rather than over a long period check out this video from Art Of Manliness where he shows you how to work the battle ropes with 15 different exercises for a ten minute work out. This is a high intensity interval training exercise that you can do in 10 minutes but that gives a great cardio workout with out the five mile jog or the time on a machine. I have never tried this but he looks pretty strong and it didn’t look super easy for him so I can imagine that those ten minutes would feel like much longer but he looks like he is in pretty good shape so it must work and it takes up a lot less time than most cardio work outs.
