Nettle also know as stinging nettle is a wild weed that grows all through the world and the dried herb is full of nutrients. If you have nettle growing near you go pick some and make some of this artisan nettle bread and add the trace minerals of nettle to your loaf. Fork and Flower shares a recipe to make this lovely loaf of homemade nettle bread and also a recipe for a wild herb curd to put on it, the herbs used though I had not heard of but since she is in Switzerland that might be the reason. I think it would be good with butter though or if you wanted to make a curd with nettles and other edible herbs you could certainly do so.
The bread looks so good with the nettle leaf sprinkled on it before baking, so good you can almost smell it. What a bonus to add some healthy trace minerals to your bread that came from the good earth and you can pick for free. This bread looks like it would be super good cut thick and toasted to go with eggs for breakfast.
