Homemade Baked Chocolate Doughnuts

If you love chocolate doughnuts but prefer  the cake doughnut that is baked this recipe is the one. The recipe make six doughnuts but if you have more than one doughnut pan you could double the recipe and make a dozen or even more. If you have small children you could provide all sorts of toppings and sprinkles and let them decorate their own doughnut. I think this would be a fun activity for a birthday party or a girls sleep over. Once Upon A Recipe shares this baked chocolate doughnut recipe and says if you don’t have a doughnut pan you can bake this recipe in a muffin pan adding a little extra time. I think these would be good under a scoop of ice cream with some caramel dribbled over it.
