Homemade Bench Holds The Watering Hose

If you are tired of looking at the garden hoses lying around when not in use, you can build this very functional bench and have both seating and a storage area for a hose or even two. This bench can be built in a weekend and if you have some weather resistant wood to build it with would cost you almost nothing. If you don’t have the wood and need to buy it then your cost would depend on the type of wood you buy. I would love this by my garden to hold both the hose and my gardening gloves and trowel. That way when I needed to weed and water the garden, everything would be right there at hand.

The instructions for building this bench are shared by Sunset, who says ”  The project, which requires intermediate woodworking skills, takes about two days to complete and should cost less than $200.” Not to bad for a nice looking bench that won’t rot since you use wood that is good for outdoors. If you would rather build a bench with planters you can use this plan, Build A Cedar Bench With Double Planters. Or if you have small children you might like to Build a Trellised Childrens Bench. Any of these can be built is just a couple of days and how great a feeling seeing these awesome benches in use, knowing that you built them yourself.
