Homemade Butterscotch Banana Bread Recipe will bring the sweet aroma of homemade bread to your kitchen.
Rather than allow those overripe bananas go to waste, why not use them to prepare an excellent and tasty pastry, which is tacky on the inside having a crunchy exterior – packed full with delicious butterscotch in every bite.
The ingredients needed to prepare this pastry are two overripe bananas, quarter cup of melted butter, half cup of sugar, a medium egg, one teaspoon of vanilla, one teaspoon of baking soda, quarter teaspoon of salt, one and half cup of flour and half cup of butterscotch chips.
To begin preparation, you would need to mix a base for the bread by first mushing the unripe bananas, then melting the butter and whisking your egg. Add this to the mushed bananas, then mix the sugar, vanilla, baking soda, salt and flour and stir until they combine.
Add the mixture of these ingredients to the previous mixture of mushed bananas, then add the butterscotch chips and mix together until they all combine and the mixture is smooth without any unusual lumps.
Once the batter has been properly mixed together, you would need to grease your loaf pan with either butter or oil in order to avoid the batter from sticking to the sides of the pan while it is baking. Add a measured amount of the batter to the loaf pan, just enough so it doesn’t spill over when it rises then bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. The butterscotch banana bread is best served warm and best enjoyed when accompanied with a lot of butter.
