Homemade Chocolate cake mix & yellow cake mix recipes can be the basic foundation that can be expanded upon by adding dried fruit bits, nuts and chocolate or butterscotch chips morsels.

Buy the ingredients in bulk and make up enough to fill a case of wide mouth mason jars so you stocked up.

Homemade Chocolate Cake Mix Recipe

Dry Ingredients:

3 cups of Flour

2 cups of Sugar

8 tbsp. Cocoa

2 tsp. Baking Soda

2 tsp. Salt

Mix and pour into a mason jar.

Create a label for the outside of the mason jar.

Wet Ingredients:

2 cups Cold Water

2 tsps. Vanilla

2 tbsp. Vinegar

3/4 cup Vegetable Oil

Bake for 25-30 min. at 375 degrees

 

Homemade Yellow Cake Mix Recipe

Dry Ingredients:

2 cups Cake Flour

2 tsp. Baking Powder

1/2 tsp. Salt

1 cup Sugar

Mix and pour into a mason jar.

Create a label for the outside of the mason jar.

Wet Ingredients:

3 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla

3/4 cup milk

1/2 cup butter, softened

Baked at 350 degrees F. for 30 to 38 minutes.
