Homemade No Pectin Blueberry Refrigerator Jam

If you love blueberries check out this recipe for homemade blueberry jam made without pectin and it is not canned so it goes in the fridge to be used within a couple of weeks. It is also made with honey instead of sugar. Once it is made you can use it on biscuits, toast, scones, English muffins, over ice cream, on pancakes or any other way you may like to enjoy your jam.

Homemade No Pectin Blueberry Refrigerator Jam

The recipe is from Crafts Ala Mode and it make a little over eight ounces so you can make some when ever you find blueberries at a decent price. You need two cups (1 pint) of berries to make this recipe. If you grow your own blueberries you might be interested in these recipes. Canning fresh blueberries. or this one, Pickled Blueberries. Both recipes are a good way to preserve you blueberries so you can enjoy them when the bushes are bare.

The jam only takes about a half an hour to make so it is a pretty quick way to make some homemade blueberry jam with your own or store bought blueberries. We really like this on ice cream. It is good on a Belgian waffle with a scoop of ice cream and some whipped cream too. Makes a great dessert served that way. If you love blueberries you will love th blueberry jam.
