Peaches are in stores and reasonably priced right now so this is a good time to find a new recipe for peaches. I think this one is a winner. Delicious homemade peach fritters made with fresh peaches and drizzled with glaze. So yummy. These are fairly simple to make. You basically will make your batter, add fresh peaches and then deep fry large spoonfuls. Then drizzle them with glaze
You can wait for them to cool before eating but they are really good in a bowl warm with a scoop of ice cream melting beside them. Bunny’s Warm Oven shares this recipe and she says you can make these with apples or pineapple too. I am pretty sure plums and cherries would also work and I think cherry would be amazing. The recipe will make about ten small fritters. I usually double the recipe because we will eat them the next day. They are good if you heat them for a few seconds in the microwave if you have them with ice cream or just eat them cold, any way you eat them they are scrumptious.
