Homemade Swiffer Wet Jet Solution That Cleans Way Better

If you use the Swiffer wet jet on your floors you are going to want to read this article and get the recipe to make your own refill solution. I am shocked at how much dirt was left on the floor using the store-bought solution. I don’t use the swiffer but if you do you may want to make this solution so your floors will at least be clean. I use a good old-fashioned mop on my floors but I might make some of the cleaner to use with my mop. It looks like it does a good job of cleaning and would be less expensive that the floor cleaners I buy.

Building It Om Pennies shares the recipe for the solution. In the picture the first pad is the one she used with the store-bought solution. The others are the pads she used afterwards with her own solution. So all that was what the Swiffer had been leaving on her floors. If you have a baby or pets that are on the floor you definitely want it cleaner than that. Heck I don’t even want to walk on a floor that has that much dirt left on it.
