This Homesteading Goat Bed Built with Wood Pallets DIY Project was designed to introduce the readers to a way to give their goats a comfortable warm place to sleep off the ground. By raising the wood pallet bed off the ground, it stop the loss of body heat by stopping goats from laying on the ground which is colder than their body temperature.
As a homesteader, one of the most important parts of your operation is your livestock. They are generally speaking one of your biggest source of food and income. For this reason, you need to be sure that you are keeping your animals comfortable as stress can be extremely harmful and ultimately very costly.
This Do It Yourself project was shared by the author in hopes to help fellow homesteaders by giving them a tip on how to keep their goats happy by keeping them off the cold, damp floor of the barn.
