Honey has natural anti-inflammatory, probiotic, and antibacterial properties. When using honey as a face wash make sure only raw honey is used. If you use any other honey it has been heated causing it to lose some antibacterial and probiotic purposes. Your face wash will not be effective if you use processed honey.

When making a raw honey face wash it will take about ten minutes to make.

A lovely, non-drying and naturally anti-bacterial, gentle formula of 100% certified organic raw honey, castile soap, essential oils and distilled water.

You will want to combine:

1/4 cup filtered water

1/3 cup 100% certified organic honey (Buy here from Amazon to support our website) 

1 quart Glass Mason Jar

2-4 drops Essential Oils Set (Buy here from Amazon to support our website) 

Skin Types and Conditions: When choosing the best essential oil to best fit your skin type and special condition.

Oily Skin – Orange, Lemon, Bergamot and Geranium essential oils – They cut through grease and facial oils.

Breakouts and Blemishes – Tea Tree, Geranium, Lavender and Patchouli – calm and prevent breakouts and can also be applied undiluted as a spot treatment for ance.

Dry Chapped Skin – Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Roman or German Chamomile – deeply moisturizing essential oil

Dark Spots – Lavender, Lemon and Frankincense – for toning and brightening skin.

Combination Skin – Patchouli, Lavender, Bergamot and Orange – skin that tends to be both dry and oily.

Aging Skin – Lavender, Frankincense, Rose and Ylang Ylang – skin that tends to be prone to wrinkles and sagging.

Healing Ance Scars – Lavender essential oil – honey has healing properties as well.

Honey Essential Oil Refreshing Face Wash Recipe for Natural Beauty


Add all ingredients into a a quart glass mason jar and gentley shake until honey is fully dissolved. Make sure to also shake before each use as honey and other ingredients will settle.

To use this mixture, just simply rub on your face like any facial cleanser you would normally use. Apply it to your face and neck and rub in small circles for best results. Then simply wash off with warm water.
