The technique used for manufacturing a Rustic Tailgate bench is unproblematic and simple.
Things that are required for constructing this bench include:
• Kreg jig
• 2 1/2″ pocket screws
• Brad nailer
• 1 1/2″ brad nails
• Wood glue
• 2 1/2″ deck screws
• Miter saw
• Jigsaw
• 2″ lag bolts
• Washers
• 2″ angle brackets
• Tailgate
It must be kept in mind that these supplies may differ according to the size that you will prefer for your bench to be. Cut out the front and back legs of the bench with the help of miter saw. Drill and clamp the wooden logs together using the screws, nails, washers, and angle brackets. In order to join all the pieces of the bench together to give it your desired look, glue the logs together very carefully, considering the angles of the bench in the making. Stain the wood to give it a classy rustic look.
