This step by step tutorial of how to build a triple bunk bed with a crib is a great way to create vertical space for 3 children of different age group in a small home.
If you have several children and very little space, you should consider creating a bunk bed system that minimizes the floor space you would need to use for two or more beds. While this project may look intimidating, the instructions are clear enough that, if you give yourself several days to get it done, you can accomplish the job with very little hassle.
For this project, you will need the following tools:
– 1 ¼ inch screws
– 2 inch screws
– 3 inch screws
– Elmer’s Wood Glue
– Elmer’s Wood Filler
– 120 Grit Sandpaper
– Wood Conditioner
– Paint Brush
On top of these items, you’ll need a full list of wood, cut at specific angles and at specific lengths. This is described in much better detail on the page of the guide. Please note that the instructions on this page are for the basic bunk bed. There will be extra steps and more materials needed for the bunk beds plus the crib.
