Personally, I like to spend an couple hours out of an afternoon to pre measure dry ingredients of a mix, pour in a glass mason jar and attach what wet ingredients and what temperature to bake at for how long on a note card to the glass mason jar. I take one recipe and fill 10 mason jars and add to my food pantry instead of running to the grocery store every time I want to bake a cake.
