How To Sew Boxer Briefs And Save

Learn how to sew boxer briefs for your self, your husband or your  boys. If you have a house full of boys you could save some good money. You can use old tees or remnants and clear out some of the small pieces of material you know you have in your sewing room.  Chris White has an excellent three part video that will walk you through making the pattern so you will have it. It is made off of an old pair of briefs so you will know the new briefs will fit. The pattern you make can be used over and over so once you get through all the steps of making it and correctly labeling the pieces of the patter you can keep it and use it next time you need to make some briefs in that size.

Once he walks you through the pattern making process he then shows how to put them together, and add the elastic waist band using the sewing machine. So if you would like to save money and especially if you have a lot of left over pieces of material that would be enough for a pair of briefs but not much else this is a perfect way to use it up and save even more on the briefs by not needing to buy material. If you have boys that are close in age you could make their briefs in a separate color for each boy to make laundry sorting easier. Really thorough tutorial.
