See how one man made security bars for his basement window for free from scrap items he had. I love that the bars are on a hinge so they can be laid down against the wall if you need access to the window but lifted and secured when the window is not in use. This is a great diy project if you want to make your basement windows secure from anyone trying to break in through the basement windows and not have to install glass blocks which pretty much mean that window is never going to open again and there won’t be much visibility either.
