Info On Building A Log Cabin

This is a great article on building a log cabin. To have something that is built by you and not just another stamped out home would be so wonderful. I found this article very interesting because they don’t try to tell you that you can build yourself a little log home for a couple of thousand dollars but how to build a nice log home for thirty thousand back in 1999 and I am sure more now. But you would have a very solid and well constructed home built by yourself and no mortgage. They give a lot of more in-depth info that I hadn’t seen before. Like how you can buy your logs  with rabbets and grooves to eliminate the need for chinking. Not having to chink reduces a lot of maintenance you would have to do annually.
