Insulate Your Windows For Winter With Bubble Wrap and Water

Insulate your windows for winter with bubble wrap and water.  Cut heating costs and keep heat in instead of letting it escape through the window glass. Using the bubble wrap give you an extra layer between the outside cold air and the inside of the house.

Every little bubble is filled with air and this really helps to warm it befroe it passes through into the room. It also insulates to keep your warm air passing to the outside.  Inexpensive way to cut down on heat loss through your windows from Build it solar. They have loads of tips on their site. Look around while you are there. I put this on widows in an attic bedroom last year and it kept the room a lot warmer. You didn’t feel the cold radiating off the glass like you could feel before we put the bubble wrap on. You can choose between small bubbles or large. The large are easier to see through and according to the website do a better ob of warming. The small bubbles helped here and I didn’t need to look out the attic window. So you would need to decide what works for where you need it.
