For some it is a comfort food, for busy folks it is fast food. For kids it is THE food. This recipe has knocked it out of the ball park. Not only does it have bacon but it has Jack Daniel’s to give it a smoky flavor, don’t worry it gets cooked so the alcohol should be evaporated. Then it has three different cheeses. As I said this one knocks it outta there. It is really good.
I have always made mac n cheese with bacon but I usually add fresh chopped tomatoes, and we really like it that way but now that way will have to share space with this recipe because this one is really special. The mice thing about mac n cheese is you can have it on the table in half an hour which is really nice on those days when you don’t have a chance to stop moving until you finally get dinner made.
