Memorial day is coming and we will be cooking out so it will be a perfect day to make up a few gallons of lavender lemonade (spiked or not, your choice) and some gorgeous flower ice cubes that can be made ahead of time and kept in the deep freeze till needed. Yumm, I can already see it in my head. Some guac with chips, some Aracherra (grilled skirt steak), Mexican corn on the cob and then this delicious lavender lemonade for the folks that don’t drink beer.
I can’t wait for this yearly feast. I almost look forward to it more than other holidays because I don’t have to man the grill.
