Liquid Laundry Detergent Bulk Recipe
This liquid laundry soap detergent bulk recipe is absolutely fabulous with amazing cleaning power – I love the stuff! I have been making my own homemade liquid laundry soap detergent for over a year now. I’m hooked on it’s truly amazing cleaning power , great scent and the money I save.
The Homestead SurvivalIngredients:
4 Gallons Water
1 1/2 Fels Naptha Bar Soap
1 1/2 Cups Super Washing Soda
30 drops of your favorite essential oil
Container:
5 Gallon Bucket with a Gamma (screw top) lid
The screw top lid is so much easier to use, safer around small children and pets.
Instructions:
Unwrap Fels Naptha bar soap and grate it,
Place grated soap in a simmering saucepan half full with water on low heat.
Stir slowly until dissolved on low heat.
Fill five gallon bucket with hot water, and add the dissolved soap from saucepan into the bucket..
Stir for two minute to combine.
Add 1 1/2 cup washing soda and stir again for two minutes to combine.
As it cools the mixture will thicken to easily pourable consistency.
You can now add essential oil and stir to combine once mixture is completely cool.
Use 1 cup per load.
It is ready to use and save you money each load.
This mixture really does not go bad and if your making it in bulk…. it is because you do a lot of laundry in your household.
I (Memphis) do not have a septic tank and have no experience with one so when a comment was posted to our Facebook page…. I thought to pass it on.
Tina (The Homestead Survival reader ) – says:This recipe is not septic tank safe!!! The gel will re-gel in your tank and lines. Will cause costly repairs!!!
