What to have a couple of friends over and enjoy some wine while soaking in a hot tub or maybe you just want to enjoy a soak after a hard days work. It is really cool to be in a hot tub outdoors at night and be able to lean back and enjoy the stars while you soak all the days stress away.

The problem is that hot tubs are expensive and most of us are just getting by now days. There is always something that needs replaced or repaired and for a lot of folks a hot tub is just a luxury they can not afford. Well richiemcb shares how he took a largish kids pool and a metal bin with a lid, some pipe from the plumbers, some aquarium tubing and a car battery and made his own cheap portable soaking tub.

It looks like he managed to get a pool big enough for 4 people to soak in and they look like they are enjoying it a lot. While this may not be a big fancy hot tub, it gets the job done and I love that when not in use you can just put every thing away.
