Make Crispy Raw Crackers Using Your Juicing Pulp

Make crispy raw crackers using your juicing pulp. I know I try to use all of the vegetable pulp when I use my juicer because it is all the fiber from vegetables and our bodies really need it. I usually keep it in the freezer and add it to soups but this recipe for raw crackers that uses carrot and celery pulp along with soaked flax, pumpkin, sunflower and chia seeds and then has added seasoning to make them have a great Mexican flavor is an awesome idea.

You get all the pulp and healthy seeds and it is all raw so you have lost no nutrients from cooking. The mix is dehydrated to make it crisp. If you haven’t juiced carrots and celery or have switched to an extractor like I have and (I love it by the way, the entire fruit and vegetable gets emulsified to the point of being a puree and then what ever liquid or ice you add makes it thin enough to drink) and I love my smoothies with all the pulp in them, you can run some carrots and celery through a food processor to make these crackers. This recipe comes from Healthy Blender Recipes and if you are into raw food you should check out her site. She has tons of recipes that look so good I had a hard time choosing one, but I liked this one for using the pulp because I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of folks throw out the pulp and that is such a waste.
