Make Strawberry Freezer Jam In The Crockpot

Strawberries are showing up here in the stores and they are super sweet and totally delicious. While I can’t even get into my garden yet because it is a soggy and still partially frozen mess I can make some freezer jam in the crock pot with the berries from the store. The price is pretty decent averaging about a dollar fifty per pound and making the jam in the crock pot is as easy as it can be.

Basically you throw every thing in and let it cook then put it in your container of choice and once cooled it can go right into the freezer or if you want it right away just keep it in the fridge. While this jam is good on toast or muffins and biscuits it is also good on ice cream. We love  making strawberry sundaes with it. Moms With Crock Pots shares the instructions on making your own strawberry freezer jam in the crock pot.
