Once it is made you can use it in drinks or in the kitchen to add to cakes and sauces. You can also drink it straight as an aperitif. It really goes well in drinks because it has the taste of dark chocolate rather than sweetened milk chocolate. The recipe is from Gliving.

You will need rum, vanilla beans and cacao nibs. A 1 liter bottle of rum becomes a one liter bottle of chocolate liqueur.  Then all you need are some fancy bottles and you will have nice gifts for the folks that might like chocolate liqueur (don’t forget the folks that like to cook and bake) for Christmas or any time you need a gift. Would make a nice hostess gift.
