Make your own cache that you can bury in the ground. You could store pretty much what ever you want in it so that if you needed the items you could simply dig it up and they would be readily available. This would be a good thing to do in your bug out location in case you have to get there fast and don’t have time to grab a bunch of stuff. Keep medical, or ammo,or communication devices. The list of possibilities are endless.
Since it is waterproof you cache would be safe from the elements. If you hunt at a camp every year you could have items that could become necessary in a bad situation where you were hurt. I would put some gravel or heavy stone or even a short layer of concrete in one end to keep it weighed down so that any heavy rains wouldn’t make it pop out of the ground. This could even be a cool project to do with small kids. Make a time capsule and then dig it up when they come of age.
