Tie a piece of yarn around the water spigot in the kitchen or bathroom and cut it long enough to reach the drain. Then leave the water just barely on. Just enough so that a drip runs down the yarn pretty often. After I did this my water pipes never froze again. I guess if the water is moving at all it won’t freeze.
