I have never tasted mead. I have heard about it and read about it but have yet to taste it. Storm the castle makes it sound really easy to make so maybe I will give it a shot and finally get to taste it. I always thought it would be some kind of super strong booze like whiskey or scotch but its not. According to the article it is wine made not from grapes but from honey. Sounds pretty yummy now that I know what it is. I wonder if it tastes different depending on which flowers the bees gathered their nectar from. I know I love the taste of orange blossom honey best of all so if the mead keeps that subtle taste of what the bees used I am thinking this is going to taste really good.
