Natural Homemade Remedy for Anemia

If you have a problem with being low on iron, check out this recipe for a remedy for anemia. One of the keys to successful homesteading is following a frugal lifestyle in order to keep household costs low.

Part of living frugally is making your own homemade household cleaning supplies and personal care products. The article was designed to introduce the reader to a unique home remedy for anemia.

This recipe for a remedy for anemia is from, Jill’s Home Remedies. When making this I made one adaptation. I used Organic unsulphured molasses instead of honey.

Natural Homemade Remedy for Anemia

Because, “Molasses contains a number of essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, manganese, potassium, copper, iron, phosphorus, chromium, cobalt, and sodium. It is a good source of energy and carbohydrates and it contains sugars as well.

In addition to this, it offers various vitamins such as niacin (vitamin B-3), vitamin B-6, thiamine, and riboflavin. It is very low in both fat and fiber”. ( per: Organic Facts)

So I figure it is a lot better in this tonic than just honey. Too many of the medicines used to treat a wide range of conditions contain questionable drugs and other ingredients that turn out to be more harmful than the conditions they are being used to treat. Home remedies on the other hand typically contain only all-natural ingredients.
