I love this idea. Song bird blog shares how to paint old suitcases. I see these at thrift stores all the time and I am going to pick up a few and do this. I can think of so many uses for them. If you live in a small apartment these could provide storage space for lots of things.
In kids bedrooms you could paint them and then stencil them to fit the kids decor. Then they could hold Barbies and accessories or all the action figures. They could be used to store Christmas ornaments, off season clothing,accessories like belts, bags, shoes, mitten, scarves and hats. Endless possibilities.
