Peach Jam Canning Recipe
This sweet peach jam canning recipe is a wonderful way to use fresh ripe peaches that are bursting with golden delicious goodness. Add these peach jam filled mason jars to your food store pantry to enjoy all year round. Spread on lightly browned toast, bagels, added to cakes and croissants… really the list is endless.

~ 3 lbs. Peaches
~ 4 1/2 cups of Sugar
~ 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
~ 1 3/4 oz. Powered Pectin
Wash, peel, pit and crush peaches making 3 3/4 cups. Mix peaches, lemon juice and pectin in a large pot. Quickly bring to a full boil, stirring constantly.
Add sugar. Return mixture to a full boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
Remove from heat immediately, skim, and pour into hot sterilized canning jars.
Process for 10 minutes.
Makes 6 1/2 pint jars.
