Summer is here and it is that time of year when everyone wants ice cream. Whether you make your own or buy it from the store or Dairy Queen it is definitely the all time favorite summer treat. If you make your own or buy it from the store you just might like to pour this delicious peanut butter hot fudge ice cream topping over it to make it really special.
This stuff is totally delicious and the best sundae is vanilla ice cream sprinkled with broken Butterfinger candy bar and then topped with this topping. This is the treat everyone that likes chocolate and peanut butter will ask for again and again. the smooth coolness of the ice cream, the crunchy goodness of the candy and then the warm double flavored topping is just amazing. I also know a certain big kid that likes this in the winter because he likes to add a big spoon of it to his hot chocolate.
You can also put it into a ziplock bag and cut the corner off of the bag and drizzle it into the ice cream churn right at the end to add delicious peanut butter chocolate fudge swirls to the ice cream. Only do this at the very end so it just swirls it into the ice cream, you don’t want it to mix all the way in. This recipe is from Love and Olive Oil.
