It looks really neat when you serve it because the cinnamon bun swirls show in the crust and it tastes fantastic. While she adds frosting all over her pie, I only like a little around the edges, to give that yummy cream cheese flavor to the cinnamon bun crust. You can use this crust on pretty much any pie that doesn’t have a top crust. Even refrigerator pies work as long as you bake then cool the crust before adding your filling.

I really like this crust for fruit pies, it works really well with apple, peach, pumpkin and mince meat pies. It also is perfect for the sweet potato and pecan pies. It isn’t hard to make the cinnamon bun crust but you will get rave reviews  when you serve this up to anyone that has never seen the crust this way before.
