This is the neatest way to make a bee hive for honey. The bees make their comb right inside the jar and then produce jars of honey there. I never knew this was possible but they have the pictures to prove it works. What a cool project for folks with kids, to let the kids see the bees making the comb and honey. It has to be fascinating to watch. Lauri over on Bee Source forums shared her homemade set up for jar honeycomb. This is pretty cool. They set it up so the bees actually make the honey right in the jars.
