Propagating Rosemary

If you would like more rosemary plants Growing The Home Garden has a tutorial that will show you how to make more plants from cuttings. I like to do this because it saves money and I can share cuttings with friends. I have heard you can do this with basil but the one I have in water seems to be growing a little brocoliflower on the cut edge instead of roots. I don’t know what that growth is but I am thinking I won’t be getting roots from the basil.
