This Pumpkin Spice Buttercream Frosting Yummy Recipe is perfect on top of individual cupcakes or cakes. Autumn turns into winter and so comes pumpkin flavored foods.
Time to get pumpkin flavored foods onto our dinner tables inculding desserts. On those pumpkin cakes come the icing, which can be pumpkin flavored also.
Gather the following ingredients for the creamy creation:
Two soft butter sticks
Four cups of powdered sugar
One teaspoon of vanilla extract
One teaspoon of milk
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/2 cup of pumpkin, de-seeded and blended OR canned pumpkin puree
Directions:
First, add butter and the pumpkin inside a mixer and turn on for 30 seconds. Next, pour the sugar and mix again with a slow speed for another 30 seconds before beating it on a faster speed for another 20 seconds. The different in mixing will convert it into a thick cream. Finish it off with the vanilla extract, cinnamon, milk, and nutmeg until it is all combined.
Just like that, the frosting is made!
Then, comes the art of frosting cupcake by putting the frosting in a bag connected with a tip. Make up any design desired by squeezing the frosting on the chocolate, vanilla or even pumpkin-flavored cupcakes.
