Hellokeller on Instructables website shares a step by step process with pictures and detailed instructions on how to build a PVC Kayak.

This project is not for long term use (years) or water water rafting but it will get you out on the water enjoying yourself for a season. Homestead Survival readers have mentioned some tips for making this project last longer such as using gorilla duct tape on pvc joints and completely wrapping the outside of the trap.
