If your children have outgrown the trailer for your bike or if you would like to have a utility trailer for your bike and don’t want to spend a fortune this is for you. First you will need to have a child trailer. You can find them used for a pretty reasonable price. Once you have it Self Reliant School has all the instructions on stripping the child part off and adding a solid bed made from wood with a floor of 1 by 6 decking. While this one has no sides on it you could weld some onto the metal frame or add wood sides. This would be a nice little trailer for bringing home groceries if you put some sides on it or it could be useful for hauling whatever you may wish to haul on a bike. Might be good for a paper boy to carry the papers. What ever you may need a bike trailer for this is much much cheaper than buying one.
