Salisbury Steak In The Crock Pot Recipe

For a simple dinner that you can make in the crock pot while you are at work this salisbury steak in the crock pot recipe is a keeper. This recipe calls for formed hamburger patties so not only will it be simple but it will also be economical.  Served with mashed potatoes and salad or green beans as pictured it will be a nice meal that some would consider comfort food.

Salisbury Steak In The Crock Pot

The recipe is from 5 Dinners 1 Hour which has loads and loads of crock pot dinners that you can put together really fast and have a meal waiting when you come home from work. To make them even easier a lot of things used are of the frozen variety. Like in this recipe the onions and the mashed potatoes are from the freezer section.

So if you really need to knock time off from this meal those frozen items will save you the time of peeling cutting and cooking. If you have the time to do all of that then you will benefit by saving a little money off the recipe. Either way you go the food will be good. I would cook and cut my own veggies and buy chopped sirloin for my steaks but I work at home and that lets me have a little more time to prepare a meal.
