Materials for a 6×6 Quilt (measures approximately 37″x37″) Baby Blanket Size:
Batting: cut thirty-six (36) 10 inch batting squares
36 Fat Quarters (or Fat Eights) – Cut two 9″ circles from each (refer to my video in step 1)
9″ circle template (a paper plate works)
Recommended but optional:
Rotating Cutting Mat
Plastic Gridded Template by EZ Quilting
This quilt may require an extra amount of background fabric. If you are worried about the cost of extra fabric know that whatever you spend on, will be saved on batting as none is needed. All you need to do is simply prepare your circles before sewing them together. There is no binding needed. Read the instructions below to carry out this tutorial.
It can be an enjoyable and relaxing experience for anyone who loves hand sewing. All you need to do is work on it according to this tutorial with a certain amount of patience.
