Cold temperatures, rain, snow and strong winds can create small amounts of unseen damage that can later turn into costly repairs. By going this short checklist, you can save yourself time, effort and money in the long run.

Preventive maintenance is crucial to not being caught unaware. One tip not mentioned is changing the furnace filter. We wash ours because we have an electrostatic filter but if you have a disposable furnace filter spring is a good time to change it for a new one. That way when you start running the air conditioner it will be a fresh clean air filter.
