I will admit that I spent more than I should have for strawberries the other day. But they were in the store and they looked so good. I am really missing all the fresh summer produce right now. Any way I figured since I over spent on my quart of strawberries that I should at least do something special with them and I did. I made this beautiful pie from Willow bird baking and oh man let me tell you, those berries were totally wort it. This pie is delicious and I guess it is a summer time pie since that is when the berries are in season but it was really good with the berries that are coming into stores from I assume California.
