Have you spent a small fortune on products that are supposed to remove pet odors and still you have the odors. I know if you own a pet that accidents can and do happen and the odors from these accidents can be a little hard to get rid of. When we bought our house the people before us must have had at least one cat ( I am thinking more like 50 or 60) because every time it got humid that stench would just waft through the house. I could not figure out where it was coming from, we ripped up carpets and painted walls and still on a hot humid day, that dreaded cat pee smell would rise again.
I finally used a steam cleaner with bleach instead of rug shampoo on the hardwood floors. They were ruined we found after we ripped out the carpet so I didn’t care if the bleach damaged the wood. We planned to cover it anyway. Well the bleach did get rid of the smell, even though I don’t like to use bleach in my house I was very grateful to have that stench gone.
For most folks bleaching the floor is not an option. First Home Love Life has found and super cheap, super easy recipe for a spray to get those odors out. She says it work on dog, cat or even potty training toddlers accidents and totally gets rid of the odor. I know vinegar is recommended a lot but I also know vinegar will just set in this type of odor. So if you have pets or odors left by pets check out this recipe and see if it gets rid of your odor problem. I bet you have the ingredients right there in the house so you can try it right away.
One tip I would give is don’t use colored because it might stain. Go with a clear or light yellow. I can’t say more because I don’t want to give away her secret weapon.
