This do it yourself (DIY) project of building a swing set that generates electricity is a creative way to make off grid power. Great inventions come from people who are willing to think outside of the box and are willing to share their ideas with the world. The inner child within me loves the idea of playing on a swing set to reduce my energy bills. Here is a crazy thought, how much energy could be created on every school yard at recess time across the world ? It is not really that far fetched because there are fitness gyms that follow the same principle of hooking up their work out equipment to generate electricity when used.
