I read the other day that because they have been having a lot of earthquakes in CT that authorities were recommending that folks should know how to turn off their gas and water at the main supply. I think everyone should know this because you never know when you may NEED to know. A lot of folks do know how to do this because family members or friends were kind enough to show us but not everyone has handy type people in our lives to give us guidance. Thankful this article comes to the rescue.
