Water Storage Purification Guidelines

These water storage purification guidelines will help you work towards storing 2 gallons of purified water per person per day for a bare minimum in a disaster situation. Having a ample supply of clean drinkable water for each family member and pets is more important than food storage. You can go three weeks without food but ONLY three days without water before a person starts to die so it is a top priority. You will want to storage more water for personal hygiene needs and washing dishes.
