Water Storage – Tips Tricks and Ideas – Emergency Preparedness

Water storage is the most important project you can do to help your family prepare for an emergency.  A person can only live 3 days without water.
“Do you have you have water stored “and “how do you store it ” is a frequent question asked by The Homestead Survival readers.
We found that Pgward has a very in-depth  list of tips, tricks and ideas on how to properly store water .
I would add to always remember that in an emergency your hot water heater holds at least 30 or 40 gallons.  If  your local authorities  announce you should boil water before drinking, make sure to shut off the water coming into the house to avoid contaminating those gallons in the hot water heater.
