If your family eats a lot of watermelon in the summer don’t waste those rinds. Make some watermelon rind bread and butter pickles and use all of that melon. These are packed with onions and are not as sweet as most watermelon pickles. Since they are water bath canned, even the folks that are afraid of pressure canners, can put up some of the delicious watermelon bread and butter pickles and enjoy them after watermelons are gone.
